Meringue  Puffs

   2 egg whites

   3/4 cup sugar

   1/8 teaspoon salt

   1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

   1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup chopped Deep South Pecans

 Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.  Add sugar, cream of tartar and salt and beat until stiff.  Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.   Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper-lined cookie sheet.

Bake at 300^o for 20 minutes

Yellow Cake Mix Cookies     (Easy & Delicious!)

  1 box yellow cakemix

   2 cups oatmeal

   1 cup sugar

   1 cup oil

   3 large eggs

1 cup chopped Deep South Pecans        

  1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 3 ingredients in a bowl.  Add oil and then remaining ingredients stirring with a spoon.  Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. 

Bake at 350^o for about

10 minutes.
